Welcome back to school!

Hi everyone!

In hopes of keeping current and learning new communication tools to incorporate into my job as Project Manager for the Office of Residence Life at UT (http://residencelife.utoledo.edu/), I've decided to jump into this class feet first.

As for my previous experience with blogging, I recognize the power of true, viral communication and enjoy reading co-workers blogs, but I've never actually taking to the keyboard and attempted to blog. I guess I figured I didn't have much to say about a specific topic and I'm pretty sure my dry humor won't come off well in the written word.

I'm hoping to learn how to effectively communicate with specific audiences via Web 2.0 communications through this class and perhaps hone my writing skills to turn this blogging thing into a way to share some thoughts.
